Being a high school student comes with a lot of responsibility — papers, exams, sports, band, and a host of activities, to say nothing of family obligations. Give yourself the gift of spending time with God and God’s family: come to church on Sunday morning!
High School Seminar at MPC is a safe place where we do fun and interactive Bible Study and discussions on topics that are relevant to the Youth in their lives in this time and this place. In this hour, we explore our faith and talk about how God is active in our lives and in the world while acknowledging that we live in a fallen world.
It all starts with Gathering Time. Gathering Time offers the perfect opportunity for MPC’s 6th to 12th graders to lift up personal joys and concerns in prayer and catch up on the latest announcements. Elder Elizabeth Dugan has volunteered to lead Gathering Time again, but be sure to arrive on time! In fact, come five or ten minutes early so that you can catch up with friends. Gathering Time will be five minutes this year. Then Quest and Confirmation students break off to their classrooms while the High School Seminar people stay in 222.
Whether you plan on joining Youth Club on Wednesdays, and/or participating in Youth Group on Sunday evenings, we hope that on Sunday mornings you will come out for education, worship and music. Spending time together in God’s Word always yields blessings.
