MPC Youth in Mission
MPC has been an active force in Youth Missions for more than a decade. We have traveled to places such as Starks, Maine; Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; and Franklin, West Virginia. The youth of the church (graduating 8th graders through college students) take a whole week of their summer to go on a trip to try to make a difference in someone else’s life. Each year they come back realizing that their own lives have been changed in the process! On these trips, the youth work during the day on building and rebuilding homes of those in need, hearing the story of the home owner’s in the process. At night, there is a time of relaxing, fun, playing games, Bible study, small groups and just checking in with one another. It truly is a life changing week for all involved.
