Director of Youth Ministries
Morrisville Presbyterian Church has an opening for a Director of Youth Ministries, which will be a half-time hourly position averaging 20 hours per week. Its primary focus is on youth ministry. It is an exempt position that does not require ordination. The candidate will focus on and direct the energies and gifts of the whole church toward developing a sustainable, Christ-centered ministry to and with the youth of our church and community.
We are looking for a person who in their own life seeks to love God, follow Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and who feels called to minister to youth. The candidate must have excellent skills in communication, organization and inter-personal relationships, as well as to be a member in good standing of a Christian Church.
We seek a person with a Bachelor’s degree. Preference will be given to those who have degrees in youth ministry, religious education, or education. Professional experience is preferred along with experience in leading congregation-based youth ministry, either professionally or as a volunteer.
