Look for sign-up information in the communications center or call the MPC office at 215-295-2191 for more information.
Nominations Invited — for the office of elder, deacon and trustee and for at-large members of the Church Nominating Committee. Please nominate individuals whom you believe are gifted for leadership by phoning Ron Workman, chair of the Nominating Committee, at 215.702.7041, or send him an e-mail. You can also download the Officer Nominating Form and return it to his mailbox in the choir room.

Intergenerational Orchestra — The Worship Council is exploring the idea of developing an intergenerational orchestra for MPC. Let us know that you’d be willing to give it a try! Support your Youth-in Mission Team — We are selling Stock Certificates on Sunday mornings in the Communication Center. These certificates entitle you to a postcard from the team while they are away and an invitation to hear about their trip when they return. The cost? Well that’s the great part about these certificates – they cost as much as you are willing to give! As always thank you for your continued support as we share our talents and faith with those less fortunate.
Trustee's Update
Paper Retriever Bin — If you haven’t already noticed, we now have a Paper Retriever Bin placed in the lower parking lot near the Ivins Outreach Center. This is one effort we can make to help our environment, and at the same time help the church and this won’t cost us a cent. How does it work? The more we recycle the higher the weight. The higher the weight the larger the quarterly check. Yes, we receive a check for what we recycle. It simply could’t be any easier than that.
Here is a list of items we can recycle in our bin. Paper, newspaper, catalogs, magazines, junk mail, weekly advertisement circulars, TV Guides, folders, construction and poster paper, shredded paper, spiral notebook/theme books, office and church mail. (If dropping off shredded paper-please put in a bag. If you use a plastic bag be sure to put holes in the bag so it will compact better. If dropping off theme books please take off the front and back cover-the metal spiral may remain intact. There is no need to remove staples from paper. And lastly please no cardboard or phonebooks.
It’s easy to get started- just place an empty box near your trash at home and/or at your place of business, and place your paper in the box. Then drop your papers off in the bin on Sunday’s before or after church.
Remember, every time our bin is full, our church saves 17 trees from being cut down. Please don’t throw this piece of paper away, recycle it today!
