The Oremus Bible Browser is a wonderful full-feature Bible search by verse and by book. It also has an extensive Bible concordance that permits single word or phrase searches by a chapter of a book, by a book, by the Old or New Testament, and the entire Bible. The Oremus Bible Browser is particularly helpful because it is one of the few online Bible search tools that use the NRSV translation, which is what we use for our worship services, pew Bibles, and Bible study classes.

This is a very easy Bible search tool to use. When looking for a verse in the Bible, simply enter the name of the book, the chapter number, and the verse number or number range and click on submit. The search results will open in a new window or tab depending upon one's browser.  This makes it easy to return to this site - just close the window or tab.
